'I Love... Mango & Papaya' Bubble Bath & Shower Creme

I like the size and shape of the bottle for this product, this may sound a little weird but it is nice to hold... (if you ever see this product around, please pick it up and hold it and comment on this telling me if you feel the same way about it.)
The appearance of the liquid is bright orange, as you can see, and has a kind of sheen to it.
I must say the smell of this product is ok, considering I'm not generally a fan of fruity smells. Also the smell is not overpowering.
When used in the shower I dislike this product, it may be the correct consistency but it left a tacky, sticky feel to my skin whilst lathering and rinsing. I must admit the feel of that does not last once out of the shower.

I am yet to try this in a bath, however I am very wary that it may be uncomfortable to bathe in.

Body Shop Shea Body Butter

I know this isn't the newest of products but I was given this body butter as a gift this year.
I really love it as it feels very moisturising and smells gorgeous!! I am not a lover of fruity smells in beauty or pamper products so this smell is the best for me. It had the feeling on your skin that after you have washed your hands it is still there.
Obviously it has the problem that every body butter has, it gets in your nails, however I feel that is a given and it doesn't bother me too much.
When using the butter it felt quite tough rather than smooth and, well, 'buttery', but as you rub it into your skin it changes into a smooth consistency and as I used the product more and more it got smoother in the pot, but not completely. I don't know whether this was because it was bought a long time ago or whether it is a one off. Let me know if you have used this body butter and found that it had quite a tough texture.
However I don't think the faults are major and this is definitely a good body butter in my opinion and I am sad that it has almost gone!

Shea Body Butter - The Body Shop
The size I have 50ml - £5.00
The bigger version in 200ml - £12.50

Enjoy :)
P.S - I think this would be good for very dry skin

Scallop Nails

I know they are painted very shabbily but I tried my best and you get the idea, just use your imagination to neaten them up a little.
The nails have a kind of scalloped shape going on, it's hard to see the shape of the red very well but it does go into a point. The light pink didn't turn out so well I feel they just look like blobs where as they are supposed to have sharp curves that lead into a point like the rest of the design.
I'm sure you would make a much better job of it.

Bottom dark pink:  BarryM - Shocking Pink
Middle orangey red: Rimmel - Hot & Spicy
Top light pink: BarryM - Pale Pink

Enjoy :)

TOPSHOP Nail Varnish Remover

The moisture droplets captured on the lid

I used Topshop's nail varnish remover for the first time and I was soooo impressed!!!!!! I got it as a present for Christmas in 2010 (I know that was a heck of a long time ago but I didn't want to waste it!)
You use them just as you would with nail varnish remover and a cotton pad.
They held so much moisture (even after 2 years) and they were super oily, which made my fingers look greasy in the process, but that was easily washed off.
It took the nail varnish off very well and I only needed to use one pad for all of my 10 fingers!!!! I was so impressed by this, and guess what! I only used 1 side of the pad!!!! Before I used them I was worried they would run out very quickly but I hadn't realised I would only be using one side of a pad per nail varnish removing sesh! I suppose you could get your money's worth and put the pad that you used back in the box and use the other side next time. I kind of regret putting it in the bin now.
Oh and also they smelt good which is always a plus.

To conclude they were well worth their money and I would certainly recommend them. Although there was one slight downer, it can get a bit messy. If the pads touched anything else or you touched anything whilst you were using them (e.g. surfaces, phones, cameras, you get the gist..) then all those things get oily. When you touch them after washing your hands you will get oily all over again (that sounds a bit wrong), but as long as you don't touch anything you won't have that trouble (that also sounds a bit wrong). Also the outside of the box can get oily after using them.

Look how oily it makes your fingers!
There are about 20 pads in a box so I guess £2 may be a little expensive but well worth it in my opinion!

Sorry I've waffled on a bit but I really am super super super impressed by these and wish I had tried them sooner, I definitely will be purchasing these again!!

P.S. They are also great for travelling/for your bag

OH NO!!!! I just realised I thought I used 1 pad but I used 2 stuck togetherrr!!!!! so that in mind perhaps there are so many more pads than 20 in the box. I am very sorry if I have got this review wrong because the impact of 2 pads used together may have a better influence on the quality of the product. I hope not.

I must say now my nails feel quite soft, I don't know whether this is due to the product or the nail pampering process I always do before putting nail varnish on.
Let me know if you would like me to do a post on how I pamper my nails before hand.

I am very pleased with them. I also ordered some petite size jeans + jeggings but have sent them back as they were too small and am re-ordering in a bigger size. Dorothy Perkins have a deal at the moment where you buy 2 pairs of petite trousers and one of the pairs will be half price.

Friday Lovin'!

I'm really lovin' Drew Tabor at the moment, she has an amazing voice so check out her videos!

I am also especially in love with the DailyGrace channel at the moment.

I don't know how I hadn't discovered this before this week but this internet dating video by danisnotonfire had me literally ROFLing! Seriously I challenge you not to laugh out loud throughout the whole video.

Anyway this has turned into a you tube lovin' rather then a general things I'm lovin', don't know how that happened.

Sorry for the appearance of this post, it's not very exciting I know... Sorry.

Happy Good Friday!!!!

ASOS Metallic Snakeprint Watch

So this is my new watch that came in that came in the post.

"ASOS Watch with Metallic Snakeprint Strap"
£16 from ASOS (I believe the real price is £20 but I got 30% (I think) off my order with the Happy Friday discount)

It has a kind of iridescent, pearly, metallic sheen to it. As you can see it also has a snake print texture and overall the watch looks very delicate. I purchased it so I could have a delicate watch as an alternative to my chunky watch.

I personally think £16 (and even £20) is a bargain for a watch that looks more expensive. It fits perfectly around my wrist, and I have VERY tiny wrists.
If you have small wrists like me and are unsure about buying this watch because you are wary of it fitting you, then I'll tell you now, it very likely will fit. I had it buckled up in the second from last hole, so if you have smaller wrists than me there is still another hole to make it even smaller.

Enjoy your day :)

Pastel Easter Nails

I really think pastel colours suit this time of year. Spring has begun and we are leading into summer, these sorts of colours are the perfect resemblance of the light mood of this season. Also pastels remind me of Easter and not to mention yummy ice cream! That is why I thought it would be a perfect idea to gather all the pastel colour nail varnishes I have and get into the Easter spirit!

Pink - BarryM "Pale Pink"
Green - BarryM "Mint Green"
Purple - Marks & Spencer "Lilac"
Blue - BarryM "Blueberry Ice Cream"

These colours are not recent purchases so there is no guarantee they will still be in stock.

HAPPY EASTER!
